MODEL MAKING

A model is a pattern, an ideal, a reproduction, or a draft of something (in real size, reduced size, or increased). "Models can be mental constructions in addition to real things" (Mueller Science, 1971). For many concepts, the next logical step in the thought process is to create a model. Using a model, it aids students in making abstract and difficult concepts and ideas tangible. Two-dimensional or three-dimensional models are both possible. Making models offers opportunities to practise problem-solving and decision-making abilities as well as critical and creative thinking.

মডেলের তাৎপর্য হল কোনো নকশা, ধারণা বা কোনো বন্ধুর পুনরুৎপাদন (বড়ো, ছোটো বা আসল মাপে)। বাস্তব জিনিস ছাড়াও মডেল কোনো মানসিক ভাবনির্মাশও হতে পারে (ম্যুলার সায়েন্স, 1971)। মডেল নির্মাণ হল বিভিন্ন ধারণার স্তিন পদ্ধতির যুক্তিগ্রাহ্য পরবর্তী সোপান। এটি ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বিমূর্ত এবং জটিল ডাবনাকে মূর্তরূপ দিতে সাহায্য করে মডেলের মাধ্যমে। মডেল দ্বি-মাত্রিক বা ত্রিমাত্রিক হতে পারে। মডেল নির্মাণ সমালোচনামূলক এবং সৃষ্টিশীল চিন্তার সামর্থাকে আরও মজবুত করে তোলার সুযোগ দেয় এবং সমস্যা সমাধান এবং সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার ক্ষমতাকে দৃঢ় করে তোলে।
